When kayaking, is it less rocky to ride with or against the waves?

Or is it less rocky to just stop moving and let the waves pass?
Or is it better to come at the waves from a side?

Going by memory it is less rocky going againset waves, but you might get splashed a tad.

The waves can be funner because you should go against but going with the waves can be funner because you should go against but going with the waves can be funner because you dont have to paddle as much.
The waves can be funner because you should go against but going with the waves can be funner because you should go against but on an angle sort of if possible but going with the waves.

To go against the rapids is harder and will not get you very far. Kayaks are designed to go with the rapids down stream. which makes it more smooth and a lot easier and more enjoyable.
