when should I wear for kayaking in New York in May and June?

DON”T GO if you won’t wear a wetsuit. But if you must, wear wool because it will keep you warm even when wet. But bring lots of extra clothes you can layer in after.

Wool or fleece with a spray suite over it should work fine if you are just touring or nothing too extreme.

If you are doing anything above a class III or any playboating you will really want a wetsuit.
